From materials science to industrial battery innovation.

What We Do background

What We Do

Edortech develops next-generation anode technology and specialised validation capabilities for the batteries that will power a more energy-efficient future.

A message from our CEO

Battery innovation is not defined by a single laboratory result. It is built by turning scientific insight into repeatable materials, reliable cells and manufacturing processes that industry can trust.

At the same time, the transition to a more sustainable energy system depends on reliable, efficient and scalable energy storage. No single battery chemistry will meet every application, resource constraint and market requirement. This is why Edortech explores advanced solutions for both lithium-ion and sodium-ion technologies, seeking the most effective material and cell concepts for each use case.

Edortech was created to help close the gap between scientific discovery and industrial application. We combine focused materials development with cell-level validation, engineering discipline and an open approach to industrial collaboration. Our flagship programme, ONLi, reflects this ambition: to develop a new anode pathway with the potential to improve how much energy a battery can store within a limited volume, while building a credible route towards scalable production.

For us, sustainability means more than improving battery performance. It also means developing technologies that use materials responsibly, support efficient manufacturing, extend the practical value of energy-storage systems and contribute to a more resilient battery value chain. By working across lithium-ion and sodium-ion platforms, we aim to support a broader range of applications and help accelerate the deployment of cleaner energy, mobility and industrial solutions.

We know that progress depends on evidence. That is why we are committed to transparent milestones, independent validation and partnerships across the European and international battery value chain. Alongside ONLi, our team supports partners with specialised materials characterisation, cell assembly, testing and collaborative R&D.

We invite cell manufacturers, technology companies, researchers and industrial partners to engage with us early. The most valuable breakthroughs are built together—with clear requirements, rigorous testing and a shared commitment to move from scientific possibility to sustainable industrial reality.
